Great photography doesn't start with a camera. It starts with a question.

What does this image need to accomplish?

Photography is the tool. Helping people tell their story is the job.

Most people think photography starts when the camera comes out.

I don't.

Long before the first frame is captured, I'm asking questions like:

  • Who is this for?

  • What impression should it leave?

  • What problem is this trying to solve?

Whether I'm photographing a CEO, a golf tournament, an entrepreneur, or a Minnesota manufacturer, the goal is always the same.

Create images that help people earn trust before they ever say a word.

My career has taken me beyond photography.

I've spent twenty-five years working alongside marketing departments, creative directors and brand managers, learning how businesses use imagery to communicate, sell and build trust.

That experience changed the way I photograph.

As a result, this is What clients can expect

  • Thoughtful planning before the shoot.

  • Clear communication.

  • Relaxed direction in front of the camera.

  • Fast turnaround.

  • Images built for marketing, not just portfolios.

I love things that have stories.

Outside of work you'll usually find me tinkering on my '66 Mustang, Delilah, chasing live music, out on the lake, or covering Minnesota sporting events.

I've always been drawn to people who care deeply about what they do, and that's probably why I enjoy photographing entrepreneurs, athletes, creators, and organizations. Passion is contagious.

They're all reminders that the best photographs aren't really about objects or events. They're about the people who care about them.

At the end of the day, my work has never really been about cameras for me. It's about helping people, businesses, and organizations tell their story with honesty, confidence, and purpose. If that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to hear yours.
