Jason Alexander is a Minneapolis-based photographer with 25 years of experience and a background that most photographers do not have.

Before the shoot, he thinks like an art director. What story does this person need to tell? What does the image need to accomplish? Where will it live and who will it reach? That pre-production thinking is what separates a session that produces great photos from one that produces great results.

He has spent 15 years in commercial production, working alongside creative directors, marketing teams, and brand managers at companies that held their imagery to a high standard. He knows what those clients expect. He brings the same standard to every session, regardless of size.

His technical range covers studio lighting, natural light, location work, and high-paced event coverage. He is calm on set, direct with direction, and focused on one outcome: images the client is proud to put in front of the world.
